Happy-Day-After-Valentine’s-Day Dog Photo shoot.

To celebrate the week of love, I supported local rescues – and got a great deal on professional photographs – with my true love: my dog Victor.

Animal Angel Rescue Foundation was our first stop. The back room of Global Pets on Dundurn Street in Hamilton, Ontario was turned into a photo studio for HollyBerry Photography were Victor rocked the pink ‘bear skin rug’ sans wardrobe. (We supported this rescue at Christmas too).

Established in 1998, Animal Angel Rescue Foundation rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes abandon, abused and unwanted animals in Southern Ontario.

The following weekend, while others were watching football, Victor and I hunkered down at My Dog’s Café & Bar on Locke Street in Hamilton, Ontario. Monkey Dog Rescue Canada, dedicated to rescuing dogs of all ages, set up a ‘kissing booth’ photo shoot where Victor reluctantly took his turn.

Here’s hoping St. Patrick’s Day presents some rescue fundraiser photo shoots because Victor looks great in green.

Did you celebrate Valentine’s Day with your dog?
