Happy holidays from dogtrotting.net. The year 2023 is drawing to a close – this year, Victoria celebrated her third birthday and took advantage of three opportunities to get some unique professional holiday photos.

First, we visited Father Christmas with Lady Bird Animal Sanctuary.

Second, Victoria was extremely enthusiastic to visit Santa at the Burlington Humane Society in Ontario, Canada.

Finally, photos with The Grinch with Bowwowwow Photography at the Bring Your Dog Cafe in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

Highlights of our 2023 year of dog-friendly travel include spending a relaxing three days at the Killarney Lodge in Northern Ontario near Sudbury, visiting the Westminster Dog Show at its new Queens, New York location, and experiencing both properties at Shenandoah Dog Friendly Rentals in Virginia, USA.

Like most everyone, we at dogtrotting.net are taking a holiday break until 2024. We’ll return in the new year with updated information about the best pet-friendly festivals in Canada and the USA and winter fun with your dog along the Bruce Peninsula in Ontario, Canada.

Upcoming 2024 on dogtrotting.net

The year 2024 will also see articles about the following: more new products and trends we discovered at SuperZoo 2023 and an exploration into whether (or not) Las Vegas is dog-friendly. Another highlight will include a dog-friendly excursion to Key West, Florida and – hopefully – coverage of Crufts Kennel Club dog show in Birmingham, England – the grand-daddy of all pure breed dog shows.
