Contest: Vote! For Dog Merchandise to Win

Time to Vote! Coming soon: Dogtrotting.net merchandise.

Like so many, this year’s given us the ‘gift’ of time, confusion, loss, reinvigoration, and new focus.

Mid-year, I lost the heart and soul of this site. Victor, my 16-year-old cocker-cross and fearless travel companion, crossed the rainbow bridge in July. I was a hard choice to make (we’ve all been there), but one I had to make for him as his Canine Cognitive Dysfunction declined. Miss him doesn’t begin to describe it.

However, a new journey began leading to the following stories:

  • my search for a new canine companion,
  • dog-friendly winery in Picton, Ontario,
  • pet communication session with Victor,
  • and pet-themed creative calming crafting options … all coming soon on dogtrotting.net.

Add to that list an online store of dog-friendly travel merchandised designed just for dogtrotting.net.

VOTE FOR YOUR FAVOURITE TOTEBAG

I need your help. Help me select the first dogtrotting.net tote bag design. Let me know your favourite by voting in the poll below. The most popular will become the first of a limited-edition series available on this site.

Thank you so much for your help! Your opinion matters – comment for Tote A, B or C. Thanks!

  1. I selected A

  2. These are all adorable but I like C best, mostly because of the color scheme.

  3. The yellow one is easily by far my favorite ❤️

  4. I like C best. Lucky Fannin on Fb

I voted for C, although I like them all it was my favorite

i like c the best because it is for all breeds, just dogs. however, i would like a different color. maybe the black and white design with a red handle. Since you do work with rescues and different breeds i think it would be a good idea to have a “nondenominational” bag. Again i am so very sorry about the loss of your wonderful traveling companion and best friend. i dont think you ever get over the loss. I lost my oldest 4 yrs ago and there are still many days when i just break down and cry. if you are trying to depict your blog, i think a picture of small globe/map, with a silhouette of you and victor over the globe/map would be nice to maybe add in the corner of the bag with dogtrotting.com on the map/globe.

I chose C because I thought it was the most appealing print for a lot of dog lovers that may not want to be breed specific.

  9. Love them all, so it was not an easy choice. Yellow is my favorite color though so that narrowed it down. 🙂

  10. I picked C because it was the most generic dog. If it I had a Boston terrier, I would have picked A

  11. I love all of them. C is my favorite as it feels like the colors pop out and says pick me! And I think it would attractive to many dog lovers.

  12. I like A the black and white Boston – I wear a lot of black and white plus a very clean fun look- closest to Kilo the Pug. Well done. I have been meaning to set up my store too for months. S

I prefer the retriever, however I chose the black and white bag because it’s the cleanest and clearest image. Well done!

    1. Thanks. Good point.

    2. Congrats! I randomly selected your name for a tote bag and have emailed you.

All 3 designs are cute. I chose tote C because I think it is the most generic “dog” to appeal to a variety of dog people.

  16. I like the total with the Boston terrier because of the colours. It shows just simplicity and function

  17. I like them all, but I’m partial to the Boston Terrier print. Something about it just catches my eye.

I like the brown and red design because I think it would do well across a broader demographic (genders/age)

    1. That’s a really good point. Thank you.
