    i have always wanted to go to one of the big pet expos. I did when I lived in Va., but they don’t have any close to me now that I am in NC.

    1. It’s true, most of the expos – especially the big ones – happen in major cities. Because I can, I’ve travelled to check out a few cities just because a pet expo was going on … and made a weekend out of it.

    nice, sounds like a great trip. i am not a fan of dog parks, never know if all of the dogs are vaccinated or carry any diseases.

    1. I’d lose my mind without dog parks – my dog is so high energy. What I loved about Stratford is they have three different sections connected by gates. So if you’re not sure about the dogs in one side, you can move to another.

    even though they stores say they are dog friendly, many are not. a recent incident at a Lowes, where 2 dogs got into a fight, caused some problems about customers being able to bring in dogs. many people wanted the store to stop the policy, but i dont think Lowes did anything. i

    1. I depends on a case by case basis, I guess. I usually do the opposite – take my dog in and wait to see if anyone says anything.
