A Day to celebrate the bond between Dog and owner at the free Dog Dayz gathering in Over-The-Line Field across from the Fiesta Island Dog Park. There will be dog oriented venders, samples, and more. Runs from 9:30 am to 11 am. Admission is free.
September 8, 2018 – Bay area Pet Con – San Francisco

This all-indoor event is sure to be a great time for the whole family. Dogs can enjoy spa treatments, sample treats, and try on the latest in dog fashion. There will also be an agility demonstration, pet talent and costume shows, as well as a Pet and Owner look alike contest. Admission ranges from $3-$5. Runs from 10 am to 6 pm.
October 14, 2018 – 18th Annual Bow-Wows & Meows Pet Fair – Santa Clarita

This event will feature many activities such as Kyra Sundance, the world-acclaimed Stunt Dog Show, a Dog show, an array of food trucks, many vendors containing dog related foods and items, a Pet psychic, and many raffles. Dogs must be over 18 weeks old, leashed (non retractable), and fully vaccinated to attend. Admission is free, runs from 11 am to 4 pm.
October 27, 2018 – DogFest Walk ‘n Roll Bay Area – Oakland
Jack London Square, 472 Water Street, Oakland, CA
Join this fun day and enjoy many of the activities such as dog festivities, graduate speakers, dog demonstrations, music, food and more. Involves fundraising in support of people with disabilities. Admission is free, runs from 11 am to 4 pm.
October 13, 2018 – Pet Fair – Anaheim
Yorba Regional Park, 7600 E La Palma Ave., Anaheim, CA
Join the Emma Zen Foundation and Nutri-Source Pet Foods for this fifth annual event. This event will include raffles, music, vendor booths for pets and people, and a pet talent and pet costume contest. Admission is free, runs from 9 am to 3 pm
September 15, 2018 – Annual Doggie Street Festival – Los Angeles
Location is TBA (as of August 19th, 2018)
Bring your dog (if its friendly), shop for great pet products, enjoy food, drinks, and music. There will be special guests, awards and raffles to be won. Encouraged to bring your whole family. Admission is free, runs from 10 am to 3 pm.
September 22, 2018 – Party for the Paws – Saint Petersburg

October 6, 2018 – Howl-O-Ween – Oldsmar

Show off your dog with one of the many Costume Contests Overall Best, Scariest, Funniest, Most original dog costumes. You may also win a costume award yourself. There will be other festivities such as raffles and giveaways, vendors, games, music and more. Admission is $5 a person, runs from 11 am to 2 pm.
October 13th, 2018 – Bow Wow Ween – Pembroke Pines

Bring your pet to this fifth annual event featuring costume contest for all types and sizes of dogs, games, prizes, and pet related vendors. Admission is Free, runs from 9 am to 1 pm.
October 27, 2018 – Barktoberfest – Pensacola
Community Maritime Park, 301 W Main St., Pensacola, FL
Bring your dog to one of the areas favorite annual pet friendly festival. There will be different contests such as agility, display, and small dog races. The event serves as a fundraiser for the e Pensacola Humane Society. Admission is free, runs from 10 am to 4 pm.
May 5 and 6, 2018, 2019 dates to be announced – The New England Dog Expo – Lowell
Tsongas Centre 300 Arcand Dr, Lowell, MA
With tons of Exhibitors and live entertainment, you are encouraged to attend the New England dog Expo and to bring your pet as well. There is many giveaways and events to take place in, as well as free nail trims. Admission is free. (2018 times) 10am to 5pm, and 11am to 4pm.
May 26 to 27, 2018 – Dog Bowl, Frankenmuth
River Place Shops, 925 South Main Street D-2, Frankenmuth, MI
Billed as The World’s Largest Olympic Style Event for Dogs, Frankenmuth’s annual Dog Bowl is a showcase of high energy events such as running, jumping, diving and retrieving. There are 29 events to watch, 22 your pet can participate in and even Hot Air Balloons. Even an annual canine cruise on the Cass River. Free admission for spectators (Various fees to enter events).
June 11 to 16, 2018 – Spring Lake Heritage Festival, Spring Lake
Mill Point Park, MI
Not specifically a pet festival, but you can bring your dog to many events during this annual festival, including Wings on the Water Dog Walk on June 12 at 6 pm. Other events include Nightly Flea Market, a car show, a 5K run/walk and live music. Admission is free.
August 11, 2018 – Northport Dog Rescue, Northport
Mill Pond, Third Street, Northport, MI.
The parade starts at 11 am at Mill Pond on Third Street whether you want to participate or watch. Each year is a new theme and participants, with their pooches, are invited to dress up and look the part. The 2018 theme was Dogs to the Rescue! Furr-st Responders. Cost is $10 the day of the parade and registration starts at 9:30 am.
August 13, 2018 – Bark at the Park Detroit – Detroit
Comerica Park, 2100 Woodward Ave., Detroit, MI
The Detroit Tigers encourage you to bring your dog to the ball park to watch a game between the Detroit Tigers and the Chicago White Sox. Tickets are very limited and are $48 (USD). You can only purchase these special tickets online. Part of proceeds will go to the Michigan Humane Society. Dogs must have ID and someone at least 18 years of age accompanying them. Printed info for vaccinations is required. Game starts at 7:10pm.
September 15 to 16, 2018 – Barktoberfest RO- Royal Oak
Royal Oak Memorial Park, 31050 Woodward Ave., Royal Oak, MI
Locally craft beer, music, food, a Howl-a-een dog costume competition A large array of vendors for both humans and dogs, this is everything you’d expect from an Oktoberfest plus more. Bring your best friend – whether they walk on two legs or four to this fall event (yes…dogs are allowed). Admission is $5 and kids under 10 are free. ID is required. Runs on Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm.
February 9th to 13, 2019 – Westminster Dog Show – New York City
Known as the “Olympics for Dogs”, the show has been running since 1877, it has been sold out for 18 straight years. Attend the Masters Agility Championship, and The Westminster Kennel Club best in breed, best in class, and best in show dog shows. Tickets Start at $32 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. June 1 to 2, 2019 – The World Dog Expo – New Jersey
Meadowlands Exposition Center, 355 Plaza Drive, Secaucus, NJ
With multiple stages, attendees will enjoy caliber events, such as dock diving, disc dog, lure coursing, weight pulling and schutzhund, and more. The show will also promote dog rescuing, fostering, and adoption. There will be a large array of dog related products during the trade event. Tickets are currently not being sold (as of August 9th 2018). It will open at 10 am on both days, and close at 6 pm the first day, and 5 pm the second.
June 22 to 23, 2018 – Genesee Valley Kennel Club Dog Show – Henrietta
2695 E Henrietta Rd, Henrietta, NY
Specialty shows, raffles and draws, Rally and obedience events all take place at the Genesee Valley Kennel Club Dog Show. There is also a Handling clinic that takes place for adults and juniors for no cost. Meals on Wheels for dogs attends the show and accepts food donations for dogs. Parking is $5. No admission Cost. Runs from 8 am to 6 pm each day.
July 15, 2018 – Brooklyn cyclones Bark in the Park – NYC
MCU Park, 1904 Surf Avenue, Coney Island, Brooklyn, NY
Starting from 1:30 pm, this day will allow you to bring in your dogs into MCU park to watch a Brooklyn Cyclones baseball game. There will be a Pre-game Parade on the field for your dogs to take place in. Opens at 1:30 pm and the game starts at 4 pm. $10 covers entry for you and your dog.
October 11 to 14, 2018 – The Nickel City Cluster All Breed Conformation Dog Show and Obedience and Rally Trials – New York City
Hamburg Fairgrounds 5600 McKinley Pwky, Hamburg, New York
Four days of conformation shows, obedience and rally trials. Many dog related vendors, food, free parking. Over 1000 dog are expected to compete at this event. 8 am to 5:30 pm each day. Entry fee is $10.
October 20, 2018 – My Dog Loves Central Park Country Fair – New York City
Central Park, New York City, NY
With Many rewards to be given out to the dogs such as “Best of The Park” and “Best Lap Dog” there is many things to experience during this event. There are many free gifts to be handed out and many different giveaways. Free Kids games and crafts, you are encouraged to bring your family along with you. Admission is free. Runs from 12 pm to 3 pm.
November 17 to 18, 2018 – PETCON 2018 – New York City
Javits Centre, 655 W 34th St, New York, NY
Two days of panels, activities, and chances to meet celebrity pets are all included in this event. There is many different dog related brands and items to find at their vendors. You can bring in your family and your dog. Tickets start at $50 for the early bird special (ends September 3, 2018).
December 9, 2018 – Dog Film Festival NYC
SVA Theater – 333 W 23rd St, New York, NY
This film festival in New York City celebrates the love between dogs and their people. A local shelter will receive a portion of the ticket sales in every town. All films that are shown will have a canine theme. Time is to be announced.
July 7, 2018 – Coon Dog Day – Saluda (Near Asheville)
Main Street, Salude, NC
A celebration of the state’s national dog, this traditional hunting dog has been honoured for over 50 years with a quirky parade, a street fair with live music, and WKC dog judging competition. The winner of a ‘treeing contest’ is the one who bays longest at a fake racoon. There’s also a Coon Hound rescue fundraise because many of these animals aren’t considered pets on farms and need rescuing when abandoned. 11 am to 11 pm.
July 28, 2018 – Tails in Town – Hendersonville
Historic Depot on Maple Street, Hendersonville, North Carolina
Billed as the ultimate day out for dogs, this street festival and Strut Your Mutt 5k run is an annual event celebrating the unconditional love of dogs. 8 am to 2 pm. The 5k walk/run starts at 8 am.
October 4 to 6, 2018 – Take Your Dog Along Rally – Rutherfordton
Lure courses, winery, social events – this is an annual rally/social get together for dogs and their people at 4 Paws Kingdom Campground and Dog Retreat in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. Book a campground and join the fun. (Check out our summer experience at 4 Paws here). www.4pawskingdom.com
August 26, 2018 – Mutt Strut 2018 – Kirtland
Lake Metroparks Farm park, 8800 Euclid Chardon Rd., Kirtland, OH
This eventful day has many activities including the One-mile walk, dog games and prizes, raffles, agility courses and rally training. There will be many vendors selling dog related items and products. Food is available for purchase and entry is free. Runs from 10 am to 2 pm.
September 15, 2018 – Hot Diggity Dog Day – Vermillion
Main Street Beach, Main Street and Huron Street, Vermilion, OH
Hot Diggity Dog day is an event filled with many activities to enjoy such as Off-Leash Swimming at the beach, musical sit, smooch a pooch, Dogs got Talent, American ninja Dog, many prizes and giveaways to be won, free items and more. Admission is $10 per dog. Runs from 10 am to 1 pm.
September 16, 2018 – Woofstock – Chagrin Falls
Cleveland Metroparks Polo Fields, 3841 Chagrin River Rd., Chagrin Falls, OH
Woofstock is the biggest dog and family friendly event in Northeast Ohio. This show will feature a celebrity run “Best Look” contest and parade, many family and dog games, contests, vendors, and more. Entry is free for kids 10 and under and for dogs. Admission is $5 – $25.
September 23, 2018 – Pet Palooza 2018 – Sylvania
Sylvania VET, 4801 N Holland Sylvania Rd., Sylvania, OH
A celebration of the human and animal bond, this event will have pony rides, bounce houses, food, live music, local vendors and more. Admission and parking is free. Dogs are allowed on a leash. All proceeds go to The Memories Live on Animal Rescue.
March 23 to 24, 2019 – Morgantown Pet Expo – Morgantown
The Morgantown Center, 6180 Morgantown Road, Morgantown, PA
A consumer pet show full of vendors and performances from Dynamo Dogs, dog training demos, and police dogs. The rabbit hopping competition is at noon and lure courses available all day for an additional charge. Saturday 10 am to 7 pm and Sunday 10 am to 5 pm. Admission is $8. Dogs welcome but must sign a waiver.
August 25 to 26, 2018 – Bring Your Own Dog Brunch – Philadelphia
Square 1682 Restaurant, 121 S 17th St., Philadelphia, PA,
A specialty crafted dog menu, a large menu of cocktails and dog owners to enjoy. For every dish or cocktail ordered, there will be $1 donated to the Pennsylvania SPCA. This event happens every Saturday and Sunday all throughout the summer. Admission is free, pay for what you order.
August 26, 2018 – Dog Day of Summer – Philadelphia
Venice Island Performing Arts Recreation Center, 7 Lock St., Philadelphia, PA
Bring your dog and enjoy many of the activities this event has to offer such as Pet friendly vendors, giveaways, many food vendors, a pet talent show and more. The event will be held if its raining or sunny. A portion of all proceeds will go to the Philadelphia Chapter of The National Canine Cancer Foundation. Admission is free. Runs from 11 am to 4 pm.
September 8, 2018 – Woofstock – Allentown
Cedar Beach Park, 2600 Parkway Blvd., Allentown, PA
Many contests, games, and demonstrations are to be included in this event. Some of these contests will include – The grooviest dog contest, best pet trick contest, games like – bobbing for balls, basketball, baseball, and demonstrations from the police K-9 unit. Admission is free but dry dog and cat food donations is appreciated. Runs from 12 pm to 5 pm.
November 2 to 4, 2018 – Pittsburgh Pet Expo – Pittsburgh
David L. Lawrence Convention Center, 1000 Fort Dunquesne Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA
A consumer show, the Pittsburgh Pet Expo claims to be the largest of its kind on the East coast. There’s a pet costume contest, grooming rodeo, North American Diving Dogs, and Steel City Reptile Expo and of course many vendors. Hours are Friday, 5 to 9 pm; Saturday 10 am to 8 pm; and Sunday 10 am to 5 pm. Admission is $10.
September 8, 2018 – Dog Day Afternoon 2018 – Carrollton

Bring your dog to the biggest party in the city. This event will include contests such as best costume, stupid pet tricks, and best pet smooches contest. It will also include “The Mutt Midway” with dozens of vendors, prize wheels and awards, and a pet kissing booth. Admission id free, runs from 10 am to 1 pm.
October 20, 2018 – Barktoberfest Austin – Leander, TX
Dog House Drinkery, 3800 County Road 175, Leander, TX
The 16th Annual Barktoberfest – a family festival and 5km run benefiting the Central Texas SPCA – is actually two events. 8:30 am to 10 am is the 2nd Annual 5K run at Brushy Creek Lake Park and the Festival and Dog Walk from noon to 4 pm is at the Dog House Drinkery and Dog Park ($5 admission to the dog park). Admission to Barktoberfest is free but the suggested donation is $10. 12 to 4 pm.
October 20, 2018 – 2018 Tarrant County Pawpalooza – Fort Worth
Z Bonz Dog Park, 6950 W Camp Bouie Blvd., Fort Worth, TX
A great time for the entire family and your dog. This is an opportunity for you to come out eat great food and maybe adopt a pet. Rescue groups will be present with animals for adoption and animal related services. This event raises money for service members leaving conflict zones. Admission is free (accepting donations), runs from 10 am to 2 pm.
October 27, 2018 – Bow Wow Trick or Treat Festival 2018 – Granbury
Hewlett Park, 621 E. Pearl St., Granbury
Bring your dog to this 10th annual event. There will be dog trick-or-treating, pet adoptions, costume contests, food, vendors, and more. All proceeds benefit HALO (Hood Co Animal Lovers Organization). Additional cost for costume contest, photographer and pet communicator. This event is good for the whole family. Admission is $5 a dog, runs from 11 am to 2 pm.
September 9, 2018 – Loudoun Pet Expo – Purcellville, VA

Dog-friendly festival with vendors, demos, adoption, dog swim, dog races, and wildlife ambassadors. Franklin Park. 10 am to 4 pm.
October 6, 2018 – Barktoberfest – Leesburg
17558 Drymill Road, Leesburg, VA
Barktoberfest: A Purrfest Pet Celebration fundraiser for Friends of Homeless Animals. The festival includes vendors, demonstrations and food. 10:30 am to 5 pm.
