2nd Street, Scottsdale, Arizona
Final stop of the PetaPalooza Tour (that starts in Canada) is Scottsdale, apparently the city with the highest percentage of dog-owners in the state. Vendors, charity and rescue booths represented along with the popular 20 foot running of the Bulldogs – both French and British. . 11 am to 4 pm.
February 15 & 16, 2019 – Bay area Pet Con – San Francisco

This all-indoor event is sure to be a great time for the whole family. Dogs can enjoy spa treatments, sample treats, and try on the latest in dog fashion. There will also be an agility demonstration, pet talent and costume shows, as well as a Pet and Owner look alike contest. Admission ranges from $3-$5. Runs from 10 am to 6 pm.
March 9, 2019 – South County Pet Expo, Lake Forest, CA
Lake Forest Sports Park, 28000 Rancho Parkway, Lake Forest, CA
The South County Pet Expo is a celebration of family pets, and yours is welcome provided he’s dog and people friendly. Visit groups, retailers, groomers, vets and pet rescues. Bruce Cameron will be signing copies of “A Dog’s Way Home.” 10 am to 2 pm.
April 26 to 28, 2019 – America’s Family Pet Expo – Costa Mesa, CA
OC Fair & Event Center, 88 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, CA
American’s Family Pet Expo claims to be the world’s largest pet and pet product expo. The three day event includes a reptile show, police K-9 demonstrations, a bird show, cat program, dog agility show and a kid aquarium contest. Admission is $15. Parking is $9. 10 am to 6 pm. Unfortunately, NO pets are allowed.
August 26, 2019 – National Dog day at Fiesta Island – San Diego

A Day to celebrate the bond between Dog and owner at the free Dog Dayz gathering in Over-The-Line Field across from the Fiesta Island Dog Park. There will be dog oriented venders, samples, and more. Runs from 9:30 am to 11 am. Admission is free.
October *, 2019 – 19th Annual Bow-Wows & Meows Pet Fair – Santa Clarita

This 19th annual event will feature many activities such as Kyra Sundance, the world-acclaimed Stunt Dog Show, a Dog show, an array of food trucks, many vendors containing dog related foods and items, a Pet psychic, and many raffles. October 26, 2019 – DogFest Walk ‘n Roll Bay Area – Oakland

Join this fun day and enjoy many of the activities such as dog festivities, graduate speakers, dog demonstrations, music, food and more. Involves fundraising in support of people with disabilities. Admission is free, runs from 11 am to 4 pm.

Two days of panels, activities, and chances to meet celebrity pets are all included in this event. There is many different dog related brands and items to find at their vendors. You can bring in your family and your dog. Tickets start at $50 for the early bird special (ends September 3, 2018).
September *, 2019 – Annual Doggie Street Festival – Los Angeles

Bring your dog (if its friendly), shop for great pet products, enjoy food, drinks, and music. There will be special guests, awards and raffles to be won. Encouraged to bring your whole family. Admission is free, runs from 10 am to 3 pm.
October 27 & 28, 2019 – Connecticut Pet Expo – Harford, CT
XL Center, 1 Civic Center Plaza, Hartford, CT
This annual Family Pet Show starts at 10 am each day and features the frisbee dogs from Central K9, Parade of Pets, Halloween Pet Costume Contest and Parade, Rainforest Reptile Show, vendors and K-9 musical freestyle dancing with dogs.
January 6, 2019 – Woofstock – Naples, FL

Dogs are welcome at the 7th Annual Woofstock, a dog-friendly festival at Mercato in Naples. Enjoy live music by Patchouli & Kraig Kenning, craft beer from RipTide Brewing Company, raffles. other rescue organizations and of course a local vendor market. All proceeds benefit Humane Society Naples. 11 am to 2 pm. Tickets are $10.
February 9, 2019 – Paws in the Park, Orlando, FL
Lake Eola Park, 512 E Washington Street, Orlando, Florida.
Paws in the Park is Orlando’s largest dog walk and pet festival. Grab your dog and gather in the park with hundreds of other pet parents in support of the Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando. This walk-a-thon is a fundraiser for the animal rescue and the entrance fee is $15 the day of the event. Raise $75 or more and receive a t-shirt. 10 am to 4 pm. If you’re on the island, check out Love-a-Palooza. Hawaii Pet Beat is hosting its first annual Valentine’s Day dog event at the Aloha Market. Admission is free and dogs are welcome. There’s vendors, costume contests with prizes. 9 am to 2 pm.
April 27, 2019 – Idaho Family Pet Expo – Boise, ID
Expo Idaho, 5610 Glenood, Boise, ID
The 14th annual Idaho Family Pet Expo features local and national pet products, pet services and crafts from Idaho. Petting zoo, groomers, trainers and face painting. Admission is $5. 9 am to 5 pm.
January 26 to 27, 2019 – Husky Heros – Lisle, IL
Morton Arboretum, 4100 IL-53, Lisle Township, IL
Husky Heros is an event all about Huskies promoting Husky adoption. Demonstrations include dog sledding and skijoring. Enjoy winter at the arboretum grounds. Noon to 5 pm.
March 15 to 17, 2019 – Chicagoland Family Pet Expo – Arlington Heights, IL
Arlington International Racecourse, 2200 W. Euclid Ave., Arlington Heights, IL
A long-running show, this pet expo returns for it’s 27th year. More than 200 exhibitors and services. Friday night is two for one admission. Admission is $10 and parking is $7.
January 25 – 27, 2019 – World of Pets Expo, Timonium, MD
One big pet-loving festival, the World of Pets Expo is in its 18th year and this year promises to be the biggest yet filled with both vendors and entertainment. This is one of the state’s largest family and dog-friendly events. Friday, 2-8pm; Saturday, 10am to 7pm; Sunday 10am to 7pm. Maryland State Fairgrounds, 2200 York Road, Timonium, MD. Admission $10.
May 5 and 6, 2018, 2019 dates to be announced – The New England Dog Expo – Lowell

With tons of Exhibitors and live entertainment, you are encouraged to attend the New England dog Expo and to bring your pet as well. There is many giveaways and events to take place in, as well as free nail trims. Admission is free. (2018 times) 10 am to 5 pm, and 11 am to 4 pm.
January 17 to 20, 2019 – Michigan Winter Dog Classic, Novi, MI
The Suburban Collection Showplace, 46100 Grand River Av., Novi, MI
The Michigan Winter Dog Classic claims to be the state’s largest dog show representing 170 breeds, some getting ready to compete at Westminster. There are vendors, agility courses (including a training session your dog can try), dock diving, duck herding and police K9 demonstrations. 9 am to 5 pm (judging starts at 7:30 am some days).
May 25 to 26, 2019 – Dog Bowl, Frankenmuth
River Place Shops, 925 South Main Street D-2, Frankenmuth, MI
Billed as The World’s Largest Olympic Style Event for Dogs, Frankenmuth’s annual Dog Bowl is a showcase of high energy events such as running, jumping, diving and retrieving. There are 29 events to watch, 22 your pet can participate in and even Hot Air Balloons. Even an annual canine cruise on the Cass River. Free admission for spectators (Various fees to enter events).
August *, 2019 – Northport Dog Rescue, Northport

The parade starts at 11 am at Mill Pond on Third Street whether you want to participate or watch. Each year is a new theme and participants, with their pooches, are invited to dress up and look the part. The 2018 theme was Dogs to the Rescue! Furr-st Responders. Cost is $10 the day of the parade and registration starts at 9:30 am.
August *, 2019 – Bark at the Park Detroit – Detroit
Comerica Park, 2100 Woodward Ave., Detroit, MI
The Detroit Tigers encourage you to bring your dog to the ball park to watch a game between the Detroit Tigers and the Chicago White Sox. Tickets are very limited and are $48 (USD). You can only purchase these special tickets online. Part of proceeds will go to the Michigan Humane Society. Dogs must have ID and someone at least 18 years of age accompanying them. Printed info for vaccinations is required. Game starts at 7:10 pm.
September *, 2019 – Barktoberfest RO- Royal Oak

Locally craft beer, music, food, a Howl-a-een dog costume competition A large array of vendors for both humans and dogs, this is everything you’d expect from an Oktoberfest plus more. Bring your best friend – whether they walk on two legs or four to this fall event (yes…dogs are allowed). Admission is $5 and kids under 10 are free. ID is required. Runs on Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 11 am to 5 pm.
November 8 – 10, 2019 – Novi Pet Expo, Novi, MI
The Suburban Collection Showplace, 46100 Grand River Ave., Novi, MI
One of the biggest pet expos in terms of entertainment, the annual Novi Pet Expo will host a conference centre of vendors along with Rock and Roll K-9s show, Sara Carson from America’s Got Talent with Stunt Dog Productions and Canada’s Dog Lovers Days Lure Course. Parking is $5 and admission is $10. Dogs are welcome, but no other pets.
January 27, 2019 – Dog Film Festival, Riverhead, NY
The NY Dog Film Festival comes to Riverhead to celebrate films about dogs and everything wonderful about them. Donations to animal welfare groups. 3 to 6 pm, Katie Vail-Levitt Music Hall, 18 Peconic Ave., Riverhead, NY.
February 2-3, 2019 – Cabin Fever Obedience and Rally Trials, Syracuse, New York
Syracuse Obedience Training Club Facility, 6392 Deere Rd. Syracuse, NY
If you love to participate in obedience competitions, or simply like to watch other dogs, the Cabin Fever Obedience and Rally Trials might be for you. This events accepts entries from all AKC recognized breeds and all American dog/mixed breeds enrolled in the AKC canine partners program. Trial Hours: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm
February 8, 2019 – Super Pet Expo – New Jersey, NY
NJ Convention & Expo Centre, 97 Sunfield Avenue, Edison, NJ
Shop for products and enjoy pet focused entertainment at Super Pet Expo. Leashed pets are welcome but no retractable leashes. Friday 3-8 pm, Saturday 10 am to 7 pm, Sunday 10 am to 5 pm. Tickets are $13 each day or $20 for a weekend pass.
February 9th to 13, 2019 – Westminster Dog Show – New York City
Known as the “Olympics for Dogs”, the show has been running since 1877, it has been sold out for 18 straight years. Attend the Masters Agility Championship, and The Westminster Kennel Club best in breed, best in class, and best in show dog shows. Tickets Start at $32 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. March 2 to 3, 2019 – Long Island Pet Expo 2019 – Brentwood, NY

One of many Family Pet Shows, the Long Island Pet Expo is full of vendors along with special attractions such as Diana Frohman and her performing dogs, agility demonstrations, Dog Lovers Days Lure Course, Parade of Breeds and the Rainforest Reptile Show. Admission is $13 and well behaved leashed pets welcome.
June 1 to 2, 2019 – The World Dog Expo – New Jersey
Meadowlands Exposition Center, 355 Plaza Drive, Secaucus, NJ
With multiple stages, attendees will enjoy caliber events, such as dock diving, disc dog, lure coursing, weight pulling and schutzhund, and more. The show will also promote dog rescuing, fostering, and adoption. There will be a large array of dog related products during the trade event. Tickets are currently not being sold (as of August 9th 2018). It will open at 10 am on both days, and close at 6 pm the first day, and 5 pm the second.
June *, 2019 – Genesee Valley Kennel Club Dog Show – Rochester, NY

Specialty shows, raffles and draws, Rally and obedience events all take place at the Genesee Valley Kennel Club Dog Show. There is also a Handling clinic that takes place for adults and juniors for no cost. Meals on Wheels for dogs attends the show and accepts food donations for dogs. Parking is $5. No admission Cost. Runs from 8 am to 6 pm each day.
July *, 2019 – Brooklyn Cyclones Bark in the Park – NYC
MCU Park, 1904 Surf Avenue, Coney Island, Brooklyn, NY
Starting from 1:30 pm, this day will allow you to bring in your dogs into MCU park to watch a Brooklyn Cyclones baseball game. There will be a Pre-game Parade on the field for your dogs to take place in. Opens at 1:30 pm and the game starts at 4 pm. $10 covers entry for you and your dog.
October 12 & 13, 2019 – The Nickel City Cluster All Breed Conformation Dog Show and Obedience and Rally Trials – New York City
Hamburg Fairgrounds 5600 McKinley Pwky, Hamburg, New York
Four days of conformation shows, obedience and rally trials. Many dog related vendors, food, free parking. Over 1000 dog are expected to compete at this event. 8 am to 5:30 pm each day. Entry fee is $10.
September 14 & 15, 2019 – Long Island Pet Expo in the Park – Long Island, NY (Rain date is September 28 & 29)
Tanner Park in Copiage, 400 Baylawn Ave., Amity Harbor, NY
This event is held in conjunction with the Long Island Family Festival and features Diana Frohman and her Dancing Dogs, Schutzhund Training Demonstrations, Canine Fashion Show, Parade of Breeds and Dog Lover Days Lure Course. Admission is free.
November 2, 2019 – Dog Film Festival NYC
SVA Theater – 333 W 23rd St, New York, NY
This film festival in New York City celebrates the love between dogs and their people. A local shelter will receive a portion of the ticket sales in every town. All films that are shown will have a canine theme. This is the 5th year for the festival, and after this screening the festival will tour the country in 2021.
February 9, 2019 – 10th Annual Cupids & Canines – Concord, NC
Cabarrus Brewing Company, 329 McGill Aveune NW, Concord, NC
This is the 10th Annual Cupids & Canines event hosted by Camp Bow Wow and Cabarrus Brewing Company. Raffle auction, dessert bake sale, Kissing Booth, and good food and beer. 100% of proceeds are donated to the attending rescues. Noon to 4 pm.
July *, 2019 – Coon Dog Day – Saluda (Near Asheville)
Main Street, Salude, NC
A celebration of the state’s national dog, the Coon, this traditional hunting dog has been honoured for over 50 years with a quirky parade, a street fair with live music, and WKC dog judging competition. The winner of a ‘treeing contest’ is the one who bays longest at a fake raccoon. There’s also a Coon Hound rescue fundraiser because many of these animals aren’t considered pets on farms and need rescuing when abandoned. 11 am to 11 pm.
October 13, 2019 – RescueMe 5K – Charlotte, NC
McAlpine Creek Park, 8711 Monroe Road, Charlotte, NC.
Proceeds from the RescueMe 5K walk/run benefit the American Pit Bull Foundation’s program Operation Sidekick – dedicated to training and providing rescued service dogs to veterans battling Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Run with your dog – starts at 9 am. (Virtual racing is also possible).

Welcome to the 23rd Annual All American Columbus Pet Expo full of vendors, pet entertainment, seminars and demonstrations. Also happening is the All About Cats Expo TICA cat show. June 15, 2019 – Put-in-Bay Pooch Parade – Put in Bay, OH

Make this day part of a longer river-side holiday, the Put-in-Bay Pooch Parade starts at the DeRivera Park gazebo at 10 am. Enter the parade for $10 per dog and that includes a goodie bag and opportunity to enter competitions.
August 16 to 18 – 2019 Safari Pet Expo and Grooming Competition – Columbus, OH

The New Safari Pet Expo claims to be all the fun of animal in one event. Dog competitions include the AKC Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog Testing, vendors and a grooming competition. Petting Zoo and pony rides. Admission TBA.

Pre-register online for the CHA Animal Shelter Dog Jog fundraiser. $35 in advance and $40 the day of the event. Bring your dog.
September 14, 2019 – Hot Diggity Dog Day – Vermillion, OH

Hot Diggity Dog day is an event filled with many activities to enjoy such as Off-Leash Swimming at the beach, musical sit, smooch a pooch, Dogs got Talent, American ninja Dog, many prizes and giveaways to be won, free items and more. Admission is $10 per dog. Runs from 10 am to 1 pm.
September 15, 2019 – Woofstock – Chagrin Falls

Woofstock is the biggest dog and family friendly event in Northeast Ohio. This show will feaSture a celebrity run “Best Look” contest and parade, many family and dog games, contests, vendors, and more. Entry is free for kids 10 and under and for dogs. Admission is $5 – $25.
September 23, 2018 – Pet Palooza 2018 – Sylvania

A celebration of the human and animal bond, this event will have pony rides, bounce houses, food, live music, local vendors and more. Admission and parking is free. Dogs are allowed on a leash. All proceeds go to The Memories Live on Animal Rescue.
November, 2019 – Cleveland Turkey Trot – Cleveland, OH
East 6th St. and Lakeside Ave. in downtown Cleveland
Sponsored by Orange Theory Fitness, the Cleveland Turkey Trot has been a Thanksgiving tradition since 1982. While not specifically a pet event, you can run with your dog (although dogs are not allowed at the Public House at the end). Run or walk the 1 mile, 5 miles or 5 Km routes. Advanced registration starts at $25 per person and is $40 at race day. Registration at 8:45 am – race starts at 9:30 am.
January 11 – 13, 2019 – Great Philadelphia Pet Event – Philadelphia, PA

Another in the Family Pet Expo well… family, this expo in Lehigh Valley features Gail Mirabella and the Dynamo Dogs, parade of breeds, Kan Do K9’s Sport Association, Dog Lovers Days Lure Course, Illusion Ranch Alpacas and Neverland K9 Institute and of course plenty of vendors. Admission is $11.
March 23 to 24, 2019 – Morgantown Pet Expo – Morgantown
The Morgantown Center, 6180 Morgantown Road, Morgantown, PA
A consumer pet show full of vendors and performances from Dynamo Dogs, dog training demos, and police dogs. The rabbit hopping competition is at noon and lure courses available all day for an additional charge. Saturday 10 am to 7 pm and Sunday 10 am to 5 pm. Admission is $8. Dogs welcome but must sign a waiver.

A specialty crafted dog menu, a large menu of cocktails and dog owners to enjoy. For every dish or cocktail ordered, there will be $1 donated to the Pennsylvania SPCA. This event happens every Saturday and Sunday all throughout the summer. Admission is free, pay for what you order.
