Check out these handmade dog collars from Handmade in the Hammer, owned by Alison Chapman here in my (almost) hometown of Hamilton, Ontario. Victor loves these collars (and bows and flowers…) ever since discovering them at Hamilton’s Art Crawl, a monthly event drawing thousands downtown. See our coverage here along with a pic of Victor and Alison – he’s such a scamp.
Handmade in the Hammer uses soldered metal rings that don’t pull open if you dog pulls (like Victor), 1 inch webbing that withstands up to 300 pounds of weight and real dog collar clasps that don’t open unless you press from both sides, unlike other brands I’ve bought.
Most important – they’re really cute!
Victor has many, along with matching bow ties, that give him additional charm and forgiveness, especially when he’s not perfect in public. Who can get annoyed at a dapper dog?
